Scanner maintenance

2. Please do not cut off the power midway during work. Generally, after the scanners mirror set is completely returned, the power is cut off, which is very meaningful for the normal operation of the scanner circuit chip.
3. Some CCD scanners can scan small three -dimensional items. When scanning, pay attention: Do not move casually when placing sharp items to avoid scratching glass, including the nail needle on the reflected manuscript;Broken glass.
4. When the user is not in use, the lamp of the scanner is still lit. Since the scanner lamp tube is also consumable, it is recommended that users cut off the power when not in use.
5. The scanner should be placed away from the windows. It should be more dust near the window, and it will be directly exposed to the sun, which will reduce the life of plastic components.
6. Static electricity generates at the work of the scanner, which will adsorb a large amount of dust into the body.Therefore, do not cover the fabrics that are easy to drop the slag, and use silk or wax dye cloth. The appropriate humidity of the room can avoid the effect of dust on the scanner.
7. Optical imaging components can be wiped off the dust of the shell with a soft fine cloth, and then cleaned it carefully with a cleaner and water.The glass tablet should be wiped with a glass cleaner first, and then wipe it with a soft dry cloth.

Scanner fault treatment
1. Only a small part of the image is obtained
Focusing rectangles still stay on the preview image, and only the area in the rectangular box is obtained.After the focus is done, click to remove the focusing rectangular box and repeat the test to obtain the image.
2. There are too many patterns in the image (noise interference)
The working environment of the scanner exceeds its allowable range.Let the scanner work within the allowable range.Turn off the computer, then turn off the scanner, then open the scanner first, and then open the computer to re -calibrate the scanner.
3. The color of the original manuscript is too different from the screen color
(1) Check whether the color, brightness, and contrast setting of the screen is in line with normal requirements;
(4) Assuming that the above settings are correct, you can do the color correction between the scanner and the display screen.
4. The entire image of the scanning is deformation or blurred
(1) Scanner glass plate dirty or reflective mirror dirt; wipe the glass plate with a soft cloth and clean reflector.
(2) Scanning the original files failed to be flattened on the file table; to ensure that scanning the manuscript is always flattened on the platform.
(3) Make sure not to move files during the scanning process.
(4) During the scanning process, the scanner produces vibration due to unevenness; pay attention to put the scanner on the smooth surface.
(5) The exposure settings of the adjustment software or "Gamma" settings.
(6) If the above situation occurs with the oral scanner, there may be problems with the transmission cable. It is recommended to use high-performance cables above IEEE-1284.
