Component Division: Cummins Filtering System (formerly Ferga): diesel and gas engine air, fuel, hydraulic oil and lubricant filter, and various chemical additives.Cummins turbocharged technology system (formerly Holstet): The full range of turbochargers and related products of diesel and natural gas engines with more than three liters and natural gas engines are mainly used in global commercial vehicles and industrial markets.Conominus emission treatment system: The catalytic purification system and related products of the medium -sized diesel engine, the business mainly includes the supporting facilities for the new model of the OEM and the transformation of the vehicle.Its main products include the overall catalytic purification system, the special parts of the post -processing system, and the system integrated services for engine manufacturers.Cummins fuel system: 8 -liter to 78 -liter diesel fuel system.
Getting root in China to create glory
The historical origins of Conominus and China can be traced back to the 1940s more than half a century ago.On March 11, 1941, US President Franklin Roosevelt signed the "Rental Act" to provide war assistance to 38 countries including China.The "Rental Act" includes Jiangfang patrol boats and military trucks equipped with Conominus engines.
At the end of 1944, a Chongqing company sent a letter to Cummins to seek a business connection, and the localized production of the Cummins engine in China, the general manager of the Cononis engine company, Elvin Miller, expressed his strong interest in this reply letter.It is hoped that after the Sino -Japanese War, Conominus would be able to build a factory in China.Due to the well -known reasons, Mr. Millers thoughts can only wait until the 1970s of the 1970s, accompanied by the gradual ease of Sino -US relations, to become a reality.
Conominus was a foreign -funded diesel engine company set up a R & D center in China. In August 2006, the engine technology research and development center established by Conominus and Dongfeng Company was officially opened in Wuhan, Hubei.
After more than 30 years of development, Conominus has become an organic component of Chinas engine industry. Through joint ventures/wholly production and technology transfer, it has made its own contribution to the modernization of Chinas engine industry.
